What affects the final price?
- Bank-holiday deployments are double the standard rate.
- Bookings within 48 hours carry a 10% uplift; within 24 hours, a 25% uplift. These notice bands are alternatives.
- Combined bank-holiday and short-notice bookings, same-day, emergency and complex requirements need a confirmed quote.
- Night and weekend work has no standard uplift unless the risk profile or written quotation requires one.
- Where charged, car/van business mileage is 55p per mile. Parking, tolls, accommodation and other task expenses are additional.
- Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise. Rates are reviewed annually on 1 April.
Event bookings normally require a 50% booking fee, with the balance due 48 hours before the event. One-off and close-protection work normally require upfront payment. Payment and cancellation terms are confirmed in the quotation.
