Find us at The Nest.
Our Norwich base for speaking with the team about security, training and medical support.
A local base.
A personal conversation.
Norvic Security Group is based at The Nest, Holt Road, Horsford, Norwich, NR10 3AQ.
Please arrange your visit with our team so the right person is available to meet you. If you are attending a course, use the venue, arrival instructions and timings in your confirmed booking information.
Before a training visit
- Confirm your course date and delivery venue.
- Ask about access requirements or adjustments when you enquire.
- Check what to bring and the assessment arrangements.
- Tell us whether you are attending yourself or arranging training for a team.
Planning your visit with confidence
Check which visit you are making
A meeting with the Norvic team and attendance on a training course are different arrangements. The Nest is our Norwich base, but the venue for a particular course is confirmed separately. Before making travel plans, check whether you are coming to a meeting at The Nest or attending learning at another agreed location. Use the address in your confirmed information rather than assuming that every activity takes place at the same address.
If you are arranging a meeting, tell us what you would like to discuss and who plans to attend. A conversation about security requirements, a training enquiry and a discussion about medical support may need different preparation. Agree the visit with the team so that the right person is available. If your plans change, contact us before travelling so that the appointment details can be checked.
Before you set off
Check the date, start time, full address and any arrival instructions in your booking or appointment information. Allow time for the journey and for finding the agreed meeting point. A map can help you plan the route, but it does not replace instructions supplied for your specific visit. If anything is unclear, ask the team to confirm it while there is still time to adjust your plans.
Where transport arrangements matter, ask about the details relevant to your visit rather than relying on an assumption about parking or public transport. Requirements can differ between venues and activities. If somebody else is bringing you, make sure they have the correct destination and collection arrangements. For a group visit, share the same confirmed details with everyone so that learners or colleagues do not receive conflicting information.
Prepare for a course
Read the information for your selected course and check whether any pre-course work, identification, equipment or particular clothing is required. The requirements depend on the programme, so use the course-specific instructions. If you have not received information you expected, ask for clarification before attending. Bringing the right items and understanding the timetable helps you arrive ready to focus on the learning rather than resolve avoidable practical questions.
Ask about the format of the day, planned breaks and assessment arrangements if these affect your preparation. Where a course includes practical activity, discuss any questions about participation in advance. Do not assume that information from a previous course applies unchanged to a new one. Keep the name of your programme and your booking details available so that any question can be answered in the right context.
Discuss access requirements in advance
If you would like to discuss access to the venue or support with learning, raise this when arranging your visit or course. You can ask for a private conversation without putting detailed personal or medical information into a general website enquiry. Explain what you need to understand about the visit so the relevant arrangements can be discussed. The appropriate answer will depend on the location and the activity you are attending.
For an employer arranging attendance, check that learners have a way to raise their own practical questions. Do not assume that one set of instructions answers every individual requirement. Confirm who will pass booking updates to the group, particularly where information changes close to the date. A clear point of contact helps avoid uncertainty about attendance, venue instructions and what each person needs to bring.
Keep the team informed
If you expect to arrive late, cannot attend or need to change an appointment, use the contact details supplied with your arrangements. For a course, refer to the booking terms that apply rather than assuming a transfer or replacement place is available. Tell the team which meeting or programme you are contacting them about, the agreed date and the change you need to discuss.
After a meeting, keep a note of the next steps and any information you agreed to provide. For training, retain the course information and ask any outstanding questions through the relevant contact route. If you are still at the enquiry stage, the training enquiry page is the place to start: describe your interests and preferred timing, then arrange a visit only once the purpose, location and appointment have been confirmed.
